These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases, bulk orders, sample requests, and business engagements made with Lottus Home Fashions - a textile manufacturing company registered and operating from Karur, Tamil Nadu, India.
By placing an order - whether by phone, email, or any written communication - the buyer is considered to have read, understood, and accepted these terms in full. These terms are not intended to be restrictive; they are designed to ensure that both parties have a clear, fair understanding of how orders are handled, fulfilled, and resolved.

How Orders Are
Placed & Confirmed
Orders with Lottus Home Fashions follow a transparent process from specification submission through to production confirmation.
Acceptance of Terms
All orders, enquiries, and transactions with Lottus Home Fashions are subject to these Terms & Conditions. By placing an order - whether verbally confirmed, submitted by email, or communicated through any written channel - the buyer is considered to have accepted these terms in full.
These terms take precedence over any conflicting terms that may be contained in the buyer's own purchase orders or procurement documents, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing by an authorised representative of Lottus Home Fashions.
Orders & Order Confirmation
An order is considered confirmed only after written acknowledgment has been issued by Lottus Home Fashions. This acknowledgment includes the confirmed specifications, quantity, price, and expected production timeline.
Orders are not accepted verbally alone. All order details - including product type, dimensions, quantity, colour, fabric specification, and delivery address - must be confirmed in writing before production commences.
Changes to a confirmed order may be accepted up to the point at which production has commenced. Once production has begun, changes may result in additional charges or schedule revision depending on the nature of the modification.
Sample Orders
Sample requests are treated as separate, smaller orders and are subject to the same specification confirmation process as bulk orders.
Product Specifications
All linen products manufactured by Lottus Home Fashions are produced to the specifications confirmed at the time of order. Specifications include fabric composition, thread count, GSM, dimensions, colour, weave type, and edge finish, as applicable.
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide accurate and complete specifications before production commences. Lottus Home Fashions will produce to the confirmed specification and is not liable for products that do not meet requirements that were not communicated prior to production.
Minor variations in colour tone of up to 5% and in finished dimensions of up to 1% are considered within the acceptable tolerance range for textile manufacturing and do not constitute a defect unless they fall outside the agreed specification.

Clear Delivery Terms
All pricing is confirmed before production. Delivery timelines are communicated with each order acknowledgment.
Pricing & Payment
All prices quoted by Lottus Home Fashions are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST) unless expressly stated otherwise. The applicable GST rate will be added to the invoice at the rate prevailing at the time of supply.
Quoted prices are valid for the period specified in the quotation. In the absence of a specified validity period, quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
Payment terms are confirmed at the time of order. Standard terms require an advance payment before production commences, with the balance due prior to or upon dispatch, unless a credit arrangement has been separately agreed in writing.
Lottus Home Fashions reserves the right to withhold dispatch of any order until payment has been received in full as per the agreed terms.
Accepted Payment Methods
Bank transfer (NEFT / RTGS / IMPS) is the primary accepted payment method. Payment details are provided on the invoice.
Delivery & Dispatch
Delivery timelines are estimates provided at the time of order confirmation and are based on the production schedule at that time. Timelines are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly committed to in writing.
Lottus Home Fashions dispatches orders from the Karur facility via courier or freight partners. The mode of dispatch is selected based on order size and delivery destination. Delivery charges, if applicable, are communicated at the time of order.
Risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the buyer upon handover of the consignment to the courier or freight partner, unless a separate delivery arrangement has been agreed in writing.
Dispatch delays caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Lottus Home Fashions - including but not limited to supply disruptions, transport strikes, or natural events - do not constitute a breach of these terms.

Quality Assurance &
Return Conditions
Every Lottus product passes through in-house quality control. Where a genuine manufacturing defect is identified, a clear resolution process is followed.
Returns & Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled by the buyer before production commences, subject to a written cancellation request being received and acknowledged by Lottus Home Fashions. Any advance payment made may be subject to a processing deduction where materials have already been procured.
Once production has commenced, cancellation of the order is not possible without forfeiture of the advance payment and, where production is substantially complete, the buyer may be liable for the full order value.
Returns are accepted only where the goods are found to have a manufacturing defect that was not caused by misuse, improper laundering, or damage in transit. Returns must be requested within 7 days of receipt of the consignment.
Custom-specification products - including colour-matched, custom-sized, or specially woven items - are not eligible for return on grounds of change of mind or specification mismatch where the specification was buyer-provided and confirmed prior to production.
How to Raise a Return Request
Return requests must be submitted in writing with supporting photographs of the alleged defect. The Lottus QC team will review and respond within 5 working days.
Quality Standards & Limitation of Liability
All products manufactured by Lottus Home Fashions are subject to in-house quality control across the full production pipeline - from raw material receipt to final despatch. A dedicated QC department operates these checks.
In the event that a genuine manufacturing defect is confirmed by the Lottus QC team, the remedy offered will be, at Lottus Home Fashions' discretion: replacement of the defective pieces, a credit note equivalent to the defective portion of the order, or a proportional refund.
Lottus Home Fashions' liability in respect of any order is limited to the value of the goods in that order. No liability is accepted for indirect losses, lost revenue, or consequential damage arising from the supply or use of the products.
Normal manufacturing tolerances - colour variation up to 5%, dimensional variation up to 1%, and minor weave texture variation - do not constitute manufacturing defects and are not grounds for return or claim.
Data Use, Ownership
& Jurisdiction
Buyer information is held securely and used only for the purpose of fulfilling orders. All intellectual property remains with its respective owner.
Privacy & Use of Buyer Information
Information provided by the buyer during the order process - including contact details, delivery addresses, and specification documents - is used solely for the purpose of processing and fulfilling the order.
Buyer information is not shared with, sold to, or disclosed to any third party except where required for the purpose of delivery (sharing of delivery address with the courier / freight partner) or where required by applicable law.
Buyers may contact Lottus Home Fashions at any time to request confirmation of the information held about them or to request correction of any inaccuracy.
Intellectual Property
All designs, weave patterns, product specifications, and documentation originating from Lottus Home Fashions remain the intellectual property of Lottus Home Fashions. No designs or specifications may be reproduced, shared with competitors, or used to source similar products from other manufacturers without prior written consent.
Where the buyer provides a proprietary design, pattern, or logo for incorporation into a product, the buyer confirms that they own or have the right to use the intellectual property in question, and indemnifies Lottus Home Fashions against any third-party claim arising from the use of that design in production.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms, or any order placed with Lottus Home Fashions, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tamil Nadu, India.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct negotiation. Where direct negotiation does not resolve the matter within 30 days, either party may refer the dispute to a mutually agreed mediator or proceed through the applicable court process.
Jurisdiction
These terms are subject to the courts of Karur / Tamil Nadu. Orders from buyers outside India are subject to the same governing law unless separately agreed.
Amendments &
General Clauses
The following provisions apply generally to all engagements with Lottus Home Fashions and are part of these terms.
Amendments to These Terms
Lottus Home Fashions reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time an order is placed is the version that applies to that order. Buyers are encouraged to review these terms before placing each order.
Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with the order acknowledgment and any written specification confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between the buyer and Lottus Home Fashions in respect of the order. No verbal representations or understandings form part of this agreement.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
No Waiver
Failure by Lottus Home Fashions to enforce any provision of these terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce that provision on any subsequent occasion.
Force Majeure
Lottus Home Fashions is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, supply chain disruptions, or transport strikes.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat the commercial terms of any order - including pricing, quantities, and specifications - as confidential and not to disclose them to third parties without prior written consent from the other party.
